Jet skis are fun, until someone gets hurt

Last Wednesday we had a staff retreat for Starwood employees at the lovely Center Hill Lake in middle Tennessee. We all got out of the office for a day to play on the lake and drink on a party barge complete with a slide. The slide was a blast, but I have a friction burn on my ass from it! We had fun getting thrown over the wake on an intertube, a few of us losing our shorts thanks to Rick from Rock Solid. I passengered and piloted a jet ski for the first time, it was tremendous! Not so for the next two riders, poor Ron and Holly crashed into some rocks at top speed scaring us (and certainly themselves). They were ok except for some bruising and a good time was had by all. Thanks to my obsession with sunscreen, I managed not to get burned on my first real day out of the summer (a sad thing that it's this late!)
